George's Story Whilst playing football one day back in 2012, I hit my head and had a seizure as a result. I was rushed to the hospital where a brain tumour was found. I had an operation to remove it followed by radiation for 2 weeks, and then chemotherapy for a year. All of my scans were clear up until my last one where the scan revealed that a brain tumour had, unfortunately, come back. I then had an operation to remove it and I am now starting chemotherapy. I like how Trekstock brings young people affected by cancer together to share their stories. Trekstock also found me a really good gym where I can go to for free which I am very grateful for. I want to be involved with the Network because I believe it is important for young people affected by cancer to share their stories.
