It almost went too well. I was preparing to suddenly feel like death at any moment! And BAM I was right to anticipate that feeling… The journey home was not pleasant one bit. Hot flushes began, my heart was palpitating so hard, I felt like it was going to jump out of my chest and the sudden onset of nausea was crippling. I can’t even describe this type of nausea – I just wanted someone to knock me out because it was almost unbearable. I had to get Mum to pull in to allow me some air and could only bare the rest of the journey laying in the back seat with the windows being opened and closed every 5 minutes.
