Each of the Katakanu boats seats 4 people, so you'll be nicely spaced out. The instructors will accompany us on paddleboards for the session and if necessary will assist with paddling the boats. In her spare time Helen loves doing sports, especially softball and netball. Furthermore, she has recently taken up wild swimming and braves the cold water. Helen also has a miniature labradoodle called Luna who she enjoys going on long walks with. “Whilst the chemotherapy was tough, it was manageable and ultimately when I felt unwell, it made me think that the treatment was working. But it’s the mental challenge that is far greater. After I finished treatment, I expected life to go back to normal, but the reality is much harder. I felt fearful of my future, isolated and unsure how to move on from cancer. Trekstock helped me to connect with others who understood what I was going through. I enjoyed going to their meet ups and participating in fun activities all whilst making new friends. “ WHAT TO EXPECT 12pm - We'll meet at Channel Kayaks.
