Emma McCarthy, Fashion & Beauty Editor

Fashion Editor Emma McCarthy will present a style talk during the evening and will be on hand to help guests navigate the latest season's trends, what suits them and help them find their new normal again. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Emma was a Fashion & Beauty Editor at the Evening Standard, has written for titles including Grazia and Sunday Times Style and worked with brands such as Soho House and Victoria Beckham. Emma was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 and understands firsthand what it’s like for cancer to knock your confidence.

“I was 31 when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer. When I discovered Trekstock, I felt like I’d found my tribe - it gave me a lifeline to a community who had the same questions I did, at a time when I felt really alone. I’m looking forward to hosting the Trekstock x Whistles style event because the joy of fashion can be lost when you have cancer - which is precisely what makes it something worth celebrating."
