Get your putt to Junkyard Golf for our Newcastle meetup.

Tee up for an evening of mini golf on Wednesday 7th December at Junkyard Golf with people who just happen to be living with cancer too.

Never played mini golf before? Don't worry it's not about being a pro (far from it) it's just a fun way to meet others. We find it all much less awkward than hanging out over drinks and trying to think of something to talk about. Come meet new people who find themselves in the cancer club too. It's a space where there are no explanations needed. Plus 1s are always welcome.

"I loved going along to a Trekstock event I felt so welcomed and encouraged to take on a completely new activity and have as much fun as possible while getting to know others who get it. I felt super safe and supported during the whole activity.
If you have exhibited any Covid symptoms or flu like symptoms please stay at home

The three musketeers Steph, Claire and Lucy will be on hand to welcome you. They've all been diagnosed with cancer so totally get it and can't wait to meet you.

Stef was diagnosed with Stage 2b2 cervical cancer in 2018. Since then, she's been getting to grips with life post cancer, learning about the impact that early menopause can have on life as well as coming to terms with her “new normal”. She loves to go walking, enjoys breakfasts out with her partner and loves football - Everton are her team.

"I found Trekstock in 2019, and since then I’ve attended online events, completed the menopause programme and fundraised by completing a number of 34 day challenges. Trekstock has been vital in connecting me with people who have similar experiences, but also giving me the information to help navigate life post treatment. I am really looking forward to hosting the next Newcastle meet-up, bringing people together and creating a little community in the north east. I'm looking forward to meeting you all."
