Lifting the Lid on Cancer and BAME Community

Trekstock invites you to a fabulous event on Monday 13th May in partnership with Saima Thompson, curry and cancer and other members of the cancer community to enjoy a night at Masala Wala Cafe. It will be a chance to share food together whilst hearing from people passionate about lifting the lid on the challenges faced by many when diagnosed with cancer from the BAME community.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

We have four young adults in their 20s and 30s who will be talking about their own experiences helping us all to learn, raise awareness and open up the conversation and would love you to join us. 

• Saima Thompson, Angel Bascom Shepherd, Yagmur Yapici and Mai Salah will all be talking about their experience after their cancer diagnosis
• The chance to meet others who just 'get it'
• Plus 1s are very welcome
