What has helped you to thrive?

Although I don't particularly feel like I'm thriving at the moment (this chemo drug has really broken me!) I would say that getting out and running makes me feel like I'm grasping some sort of normality, and it sure helps with the mental health side of this for me.
Also, the positivity and support from social media has been amazingly surprising and a real comfort to be able to talk and share and moan and give/receive advice!! It really can make such a difference on a dark day

Laura's Story

I am writing this from my bed, having my 4th round of chemo. My body hurts and I'm exhausted. I have just started contemplating a mastectomy due to genetic testing results. I had a lumpectomy at the beginning of this, followed by IVF before my active treatment started. There's a lot of uncertainty which can be really hard to get my head around. The fertility side of things is especially hard. I'm a mum of a 2 year old and find that bit the hardest, I hate that the chemo takes me away from her for days on end while I recover.
