On the 29th January, Trekstock is bringing you an interactive Dating workshop with Dating and Relationships Coach Katherine Baldwin that aims to equip you with the courage, confidence, language, and tools to date successfully with or after cancer. What you waiting for? 
What to expect:
The workshop will help you gain greater confidence and increased self-esteem, get you inspired to start or continue dating, as well as equip you with practical tips and tools to help you navigate the dating scene and communicate effectively and courageously with potential partners. All this within a safe space where you can share your stories and experiences with others who get it.

  • How to build your self-esteem, self-confidence and emotional resilience
  • How to believe in your true worth, value and beauty, irrespective of cancer
  • How to maintain a positive body image, even if your body has changed or is changing
  • How to own your story and embrace your uniqueness and potential
  • How and when to communicate your cancer diagnosis or story when dating, how much information to give on dates and when
  • How to manage awkward silences and cope with both acceptance and rejection
  • How to discern emotionally healthy partners and how to proceed into relationships, being open and vulnerable while protecting your heart with healthy boundaries

About Katherine Baldwin:

Katherine is a love, dating and relationships coach, midlife mentor and the author of How to Fall in Love – A 10-Step Journey to the Heart, described by Psychologies magazine editor Suzy Walker as “a wonderful handbook on relationships, which requires you to dig deep, be brave and face your fears about falling in love.” Katherine is known for her sensitivity and vulnerability.
