** CANCELLED **

Join our Champion Carly for an afternoon of Restorative Yoga followed by drinks and chats at Boston Tea Party. All abilities, plus ones and newbies welcome. We have 10 spaces available.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

The class will focus on making you feel more grounded and comfortable, both physically and emotionally. Through guided postures and breathing techniques, the session will help you to restore and maintain a positive relationship with your body after treatment. Total beginners welcome! Please wear whatever you feel comfortable in, but less restrictive clothing will be more suitable.

By providing a supportive space, our aim is to help you feel that you are not alone on this journey.

  • The chance to meet others who just 'get it'
  • Support from our welcoming and knowledgeable regional Trekstock Champions who themselves have experienced cancer
  • Plus 1s are very welcome

WHAT PEOPLE SAID:

'It was nice to have a laugh and chat with others who know what it's like going through cancer. It felt more like meeting up for lunch with friends - warm, fun and supportive.'

'The fun and casual atmosphere made it really easy to socialise with others.'

'It was the first time I was really able to have a chat with other people who understood some of the things I was going through.'

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 (commonly known as Coronavirus) situation, Trekstock is following protocols from the Government and NHS England. Following the current guidelines, our events are continuing to run as usual. We will be closely monitoring the situation and reassessing day by day to make sure we are taking appropriate measures. The health of the young adults we support is always our first priority.

We understand that this can be a worrying time for you so Trekstock will be providing as much guidance as possible. Please see the Advice on Coronavirus for People With Cancer document (produced by One Cancer Voice, a coalition of leading cancer charities) for answers to frequently asked questions.

The first page of this document also identifies some people with cancer who may be more at risk of becoming seriously ill if they contract the COVID-19 infection (commonly known as the Coronavirus).

If you are in one of the at risk categories, or in active treatment, we ask that you seek advice from your Clinical Nurse Specialist before attending any of our events.

If you are feeling under the weather on any level, we ask that you do not attend any of our events. Please call the office on 0207 3881200 or email [email protected] if you have any questions at all.
