Let's get away from Zoom, meet up face to face, and enjoy a walk around Southbank.

We know just how important it is for you to meet and connect with others. That's why we want to bring you all together for an afternoon exploring the Southbank food market, enjoying some tasty treats and finishing with a walk along the river.

Fancy it? Join us on Saturday 13th November.

Carolina was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia at 30. After finishing her treatment at the end of 2018, she struggled with fatigue and wanted to regain the strength she'd lost during treatment. Since then she has completed our Renew exercise programme and attended many of our events including Meet & Move. She also recently became a Young Adult Ambassador for Trekstock.

First up, don't forget to stick to government guidelines, wear a face mask when travelling to the meet-up and bring your own hand sanitiser.

At 12:30pm, you'll meet up with Carolina and the rest of the group at the bottom of the stairs exiting Waterloo Station on Mepham Street. If this is your first meet-up, don't worry we'll introduce you to everyone.

Once everyone has arrived, we'll set off for the Southbank Food Market. As we're walking, you'll have the chance to chat and meet others who get what going through cancer in your 20s or 30s is really like.

We'll have a walk around the food market, get some tasty nibbles, a hot drink, and find a nice spot where we can all sit down. Afterwards, we'll go for a wander along the Southbank river.

If it's raining we'll find some shelter somewhere and enjoy another hot drink together.
