Have you just finished your treatment? Wondering how you're going to navigate the mythical 'new normal' people talk about? Want to hear from other young adults about their experience? We've got you covered.

We know that the effects of cancer live on waaaay past treatment ending, which is why we've brought in the best experts we know: two young adults who have been there. When your treatment ends, many of your friends and family will be celebrating and expect you to feel like you're on top of the world. But you tell us that many of you feel far from that and the reality of post-treatment life can be even harder than treatment itself. Much is expected of you, especially from yourself.

That's why we're bringing you the chance to connect with others who understand what it's like. No expectations, no need to put on a brave face. Just a space to talk about what's really going on for you.

We know each cancer experience is different, so remember some of the things you may hear during this event you may want to bank for later or may not be right for you.

Meet your hosts:

Stef was diagnosed with Stage 2b2 cervical cancer in 2018. Since then, She's been getting to grips with life post cancer, learning about the impact that early menopause can have on life as well as coming to terms with her “new normal”. She loves to go walking, enjoys breakfasts out with her partner and loves football - Everton are her team.

"I found Trekstock in 2019, and since then I’ve attended online events, completed the menopause programme and fundraised by completing a number of 34 day challenges. Trekstock has been vital in connecting me with people who have similar experiences, but also giving me the information to help navigate life post treatment."

Rian a.k.a The L Card was diagnosed with leukeamia twice from the age of 14. He runs a page on Insta which is targeted towards giving people a platform to connect, as well as ironing out misinformation that surrounds cancer. He loves football, cycling and generally being outside.

"I stumbled across Trekstock, who I have now grown a strong bond and fallen in love with! I love everything they do and stand for. I of course think it is vital that we give support to ALL people post cancer, though I feel there is a niche way of doing this for younger generations. That's why I jumped at the chance to get involved and aid the cause even more..."
