Tim Stewart:

"The group sessions can have the added bonus of a social aspect to them which can be helpful to people going through, or having been through tough times, and offer a bigger support network."

Teresa Waite

"I’m excited to encourage even more young people to exercise safely, rebuilding their strength and stamina and boosting their confidence to pursue an active lifestyle. Getting started on your own can be daunting, but working together in a supportive group can be much more motivating and enjoyable. We’ll crank up the music and have fun.  You’ll move more, feel better and be proud of your progress."

Steven Harulow:

"Group exercise is a great way to meet people with similar aims, goals and experiences. You can feel the energy in every class; it’s definitely contagious and makes working out much more fun."

Victoria Brown:

"This year has more than ever re-emphasised the importance of exercise for not only the body but also the mind.I am therefore really excited about continuing my journey with Trekstock and the successful RENEW programme and showing that there are different ways that you can exercise even in difficult times.Online classes can be an excellent way to stay motivated and build a successful exercise routine and I look forward to being a part of them."

Joelle Rainford:

"I am excited to be a part of the team, running the Renew exercise programmes virtually. In such unprecedented times, to be able to come together online, support each other and exercise as group is amazing and I'm pleased, I can be a part of this and help others. I am passionate about making exercise accessible to all, tailored to the individual even in a group setting. My goal as a trainer is to give people the confidence to let me help them build trust in their bodies again and help them move in a way that is best for them, during or after treatment. Helping them to build up strength, mobility, balance and all-round fitness gradually and safely without worsening symptoms of cancer and treatment like fatigue and pain. Looking forward to meeting you."

Ambokile Bell (Ambo for short)

"I am so happy and excited to be a part of the team, even though the exercise programme will b be   virtual I cannot wait to engage and interact with everyone. We are now in such unprecedented times where our mental and physical state is being tested, it is amazing we can have group sessions in order to come together, support each other, smile and have fun even if we are behind a screen.

My ultimate goal is to give you the confidence to do things in your day to day life you would not do in the past due to the worry of worsening of symptoms.

I am so looking forward to seeing everyone. Oh and don’t forget to bring your smile :)"

"After 20 years of working with cancer patients I am so excited about helping all of those young adults living with cancer in Manchester get active and feel all the benefits taking part in our RENEW programme brings!"
