"I’m just on my way home from Trekstock’s restorative yoga in London. It was the best thing I have done for myself this year. I didn’t realise how tight and tense my body had become. I’ve left feeling refreshed, stretched and so calm. I can not recommend it enough!" Practical advice We provide practical advice about the things that matter to young adults, such as work, fertility and anxiety – head to our 'living with cancer' section for more information. We have regular live Q&A sessions with experts through our Trekstock Talks. "Having cancer at a young age throws you into a world of unknowns and Trekstock Talks makes that world a little less scary by offering insights into the darkness that young adults are facing." Online community Going through cancer can be a very lonely and isolating experience. Over the years we've created a safe, welcoming and private online community of hundreds of people who have been through similar experiences. It's somewhere where you can ask difficult questions, seek support and share advice. The group is accessed through a private Facebook page that can be found here. "I found it fantastic to chat with other people my age who got what it's like." Meet ups and events Our fun and welcoming regional social meet ups and events, enable you to connect with others who know what it's like to have experienced cancer. All of our events are either led by Trekstock or our regional Champions who have experienced cancer and plus 1's are always welcome to come along with you. Head to our events page to find out what's happening across the UK. No event near you? Join us online to connect with others that way or get in touch with our health team at [email protected], if you'd like to host a meet up near you. "Nice to have a laugh and chat with others who know what it's like going through cancer. It felt more like meeting up for lunch with friends - warm, fun and supportive."
