On the 27th April we headed up to the Lake District ready to set off for our 5 Peaks Challenge. Joining us were 45 fundraisers, 4 of whom were young adults who have been supported by the charity, alongside Sophie (our Founder), Jemima and Ashia from the team.

Setting off at 7am with bright blue skies above us and everyone in high spirits, we began our ascent up the peaks. Covering 14 miles and over 1,300 meters, we'd all completed the challenge by 6pm. Tired, aching and with big smiles on all of our faces, we celebrated our achievement with drinks and dinner at the Sticklebarn pub in the heart of the Lakes. Everyone went above and beyond in their fundraising, raising £26,000 in total. To read Jolene's inspiring blog about her experience while undergoing treatment for cancer, head here.
