If you’re working, the chances are your organisation will support charities in some way, whether that’s by adopting a charity each year for 12 months of support or by putting gorgeous things in goody bags at events. One of the best ways you can help us is by finding out what your organisation does for charities and nominating Trekstock. Our fundraising team is on hand to back you up and make sure you have all the right information to make us your organisation’s latest charity partner – imagine that buzz and how good it’ll look on your CV!

Yep, you did not mis-read that. You can 100% generate free cash for us as you go about your daily online surfing and shopping. We work with some amazing platforms that make it easy for you to raise vital funds for Trekstock from the comfort of your own home!

How you can help as a student

Calling all students! You have the voice, understanding and power to help support people in their 20s or 30s living through and beyond cancer, and we want you to lead and inspire fellow student to help raise vital funds to support Trekstock's work.

Whether it’s fundraising on campus through your RAG (Raising and Giving) Society or Student Union, organising your own event, or participating in an endurance challenge, you can inspire others and develop your CV.

You could take the plunge with a charity skydive, arrange your own gig night at university, or challenge yourself by joining one of our treks. We will support you every step of the way to ensure that your event is a success and you enjoy yourself!

RAG Societies and Trekstock:

What you’ll get out of it:

• Act as a student representative for Trekstock and people in their 20s or 30s living with and beyond cancer 
• A substantial addition to your CV - equipping you for the wider world as an engaged and socially aware student
• The warm feeling that comes from knowing that you are helping facilitate open conversations around cancer at university
• The opportunity to don a Trekstock (or Merch For Good) Tee and become part of a greater social movement among a community of strong young adults

Management and Support: 

• A member from the Trekstock Team will be on hand to support you throughout your fundraising efforts
• You'll be provided with the information and resources to communicate key messaging to your peers
• The opportunity to arrange for Trekstock’s Fundraising Officer to come into your university to hold an open information talk on Trekstock and Q+A on student fundraising

Can you afford £5 on your next phone bill? Every fiver we receive is appreciated, as 100% of it comes to Trekstock  (registered charity no 1132421) – the phone company doesn’t take a penny. 

For each text message sent, you will be charged £5 plus your standard network message charge (based on your service provider rates) via the reply confirmation text message; the charge will show on your bill and the sender will show as a five-digit number (the “billing short code”). 

How donation charges are shown on your bill is subject to your networks process. 

No VAT will be charged on your donation.
