Trekstock Cancer Support and Fujifilm UK sign new three-year partnership

This exciting new partnership will support people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s to rebuild strength, rediscover confidence, and redefine life during and after cancer treatment.

Today we're launching our new multi-year partnership with Fujifilm UK and Fujifilm Healthcare UK! Together we will reach more clinical staff and teams at major UK cancer centres – to support the patients they care for.

We're going to be working on lots of exciting initiatives together, getting the Fujifilm teams involved in fundraising and special projects - one being a joint Wellbeing Room; a physical space in NHS cancer specialist treatment centres where people in their 20s, 30s and 40s can take respite from treatment on adult wards and access tailored support. This space will offer a more comforting and age-appropriate environment for people seeking a moment of reflection or time with friends and family away from busy wards. Through applying Fujifilm’s creative technologies in photography and print, these spaces will be brought to life through the use of Instax photo prints and calming wall art.

Every day, 99 people aged 20-49 are diagnosed with cancer in the UK. However, once treatment starts, they often vanish into a healthcare system that isn’t built for them. Too old for childhood services and too young for the ageing adult ward. At Trekstock Cancer Support, we help bridge the gap between childhood services and the ageing adult ward, creating a space for those in their 20s, 30s and 40s diagnosed with cancer to access the support they need. Our tailored plans cover fitness, nutrition, rest, and rehabilitation, ensuring continuous support through every stage – because cancer doesn’t stop when treatment ends.

Celebrating the launch of this unique partnership, Sophie Epstone MBE, Founder & CEO of Trekstock Cancer Support said:

"Trekstock Cancer Support is thrilled to partner with Fujifilm UK and Fujifilm Healthcare UK. Through working together, we'll transform the lives of people in their 20s, 30s and 40s who are stopped in their tracks by cancer. This collaboration will enable us to extend our reach, offering essential physical and emotional support to more people than ever before. Together with the teams at Fujifilm, we'll create deeper impact and improve the quality of life of our incredible Trekstock community across the UK."

As a leader in diagnostic imaging and key partner to the UK healthcare system and NHS, Fujifilm Healthcare UK is at the heart of innovative technologies supporting diagnosis as early as possible. Based on a 90-year global history of innovation, Fujifilm is proud to support healthcare systems across the UK, including the NHS, to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients for over 30 years, providing patient-centric diagnostic solutions and innovative treatments for long-term conditions such as cancer. Allan Elborn, Managing Director, Fujifilm Healthcare UK said:

Fujifilm Healthcare UK has always had a strong commitment to tackling cancer through its innovations in early detection diagnostic equipment, AI and medical IT. We are delighted to further underscore our commitment to tackling cancer through our new partnership with Trekstock, and hope to support as many people as possible in their 20s, 30s and 40s in the midst of their cancer treatment and beyond.”

We're so excited to partner together - a big thank you to Rhiannon Berriman and all the brilliant teams at Fujifilm UK.
