This event is open to anyone in their 20s, 30s and 40s living with or beyond cancer

Come along and get your hands dirty! This is a great opportunity to meet new people in a laid-back creative environment and get hands-on with clay at BonBon Pottery in Battersea. This is a chance to get stuck into pottery with no prior experience required - and to enjoy a welcoming, calming and creative space right in the heart of the iconic Battersea Power Station, hosted by Nat, a member of the Trekstock team.

  • Discover the joy of working with clay, a wonderfully tactile and absorbing activity that draws your focus away from everyday worries and grounds you in the moment.
  • Benefit from the proven therapeutic effects of physical creativity, which supports emotional wellbeing and can provide a real sense of calm and achievement
  • Engage your hands and body in gentle, rhythmic motion that is easy on the joints and feels less like exercise and more like play
  • Leave with something you've made yourself - wonky edges and all - as a lasting reminder of a great afternoon spent with good people
  • Stick around afterwards for a chat with a wonderful group of people who understand you: make new friends and find new connections.

Feel free to bring a buddy along with you - just make sure you both book tickets.

This is a 2 hour event that will begin at 1:30 PM

Meet Natalie:

I’m Natalie and I am a stage 4, recurrent cancer thriver. I was diagnosed in my 30s and connected with Trekstock during this time and found a community and great support with other young adults who really understood. To survive my cancer I had to have one of the biggest surgeries it’s possible to have and it’s been a long road to recovery. There was a time I wasn’t able to walk without a frame so to be able to dance again has been a gift and has helped me gain confidence and trust in my body again. I’m so excited to be working with Trekstock to help young people reconnect with their bodies after a cancer diagnosis.
