Welcome to our community, where you’ll find support that is designed with you in mind. Yep, that’s you – in your 20s or 30s, living with cancer, cancer treatment, after-effects or late effects of childhood cancer. And needing support that you haven't found anywhere.
To be clear, we’re also here for you if you are being treated for MDS, aplastic anaemia, low-grade glioma, borderline ovarian cancer or basal cell carcinoma, thrombocythaemia, or have a benign brain tumour.
If you’ve ever struggled to explain to a friend how fatigue means you can’t go to the pub; if you’ve ever picked up then put down food in the supermarket, unsure what the heck you should be eating now you’re living with cancer; if you’ve ever sat opposite a new date calculating the best time to tell them you have a stoma – well, you know how confusing and isolating cancer can feel.
You’re too old for the teenage cancer ward, but decades too young to feel anything like most of the people you’re next to in hospital.
If you’re in a weird, deserted hinterland - and it’s not because you’ve woken up in a dystopian Netflix* series (*other streaming service are available) - it’ll be because there doesn’t seem to be any support for you.
Except there is! Exit that binge-watch and enter the warm, welcoming world of the Trekstock community.
