Team Trekstock We're a small but passionate team, working together to support young adults living through and beyond cancer. Sophie Epstone Founder and & CEO Sophie founded Trekstock in 2009 after she became aware of a huge gap in support for young people diagnosed with cancer in their 20s or 30s. She's been working in the not for profit sector ever since. When she's not in the Trekstock office, you'll find her hiking a mountain, the coast, or just about anywhere else her trusty boots will take her. Fav food? Breakfast. Fav exercise? Jemima Reynolds Health Programmes and Engagement Lead The chattiest of the bunch, Jemima is responsible for all things programmes and community engagement. When she's not out walking, you'll find her cold-water swimming, watching a theatre show with friends, cooking and eating delicious food or hanging out in a gallery. Fav food? Anything Middle Eastern. Fav exercise? Starting the day off right (with a HIIT class). Festival line-up? Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, Mary J. Blige, Avett Brothers, The Killers and Alanis Morissette. Charlie Otter Head of Fundraising & Marketing Charlie is responsible for all things fundraising and marketing at Trekstock. She's worked for a number of healthcare charities in the past and is passionate about supporting people in their 20s or 30s with cancer. When she's not working, you'll usually find her reading or chatting about books, or even attempting to write her own. Fav food? Pasta arrabbiata. Fav exercise? Yoga or a lovely long walk in the countryside. Festival lineup? Florence and the Machine, Tori Amos, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash and Wolf Alice. Bethany Brown Marketing & Communications Manager Bethany works on all things Marketing & Comms, having previously worked for an international disability charity and a Hospice. When she's not in the Trekstock office, you'll probably find her out exploring somewhere with her border collies, in the stables, or in the pub with a glass of wine in hand. Fav food? Anything Cadbury's. Fav exercise? Riding her horse Mabel or out running in the countryside. Festival lineup? The 1975, Lana Del Rey, Ben Howard and Adele. Obvs. Onome Health Programmes Officer Onome joined the team to support the planning and delivery of all health and wellbeing programmes. Having previously worked with a cancer support charity, Onome brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to help benefit our community. Outside of work, you'll find Onome listening to podcasts or binge-watching anime! (Yes, she's an Anime head). Fav food? Beef Lasagna. Fav exercise? Walking! Festival Line-up? Aneesa Fundraising Officer Aneesa is a key part of our fundraising team and is there every step of the way with our amazing partners, fundraisers and supporters. When she's not cooking, meditating or reading, you'll probably find her crafting up some cool cross-stitch, painting or sequin art. Fav food? Chicken caesar salad. Fav exercise? On the rowing machine. Festival lineup? Fleetwood Mac, Cat Stevens, Prince, Frank Zappa and Gaiea Sanskrit. Serge Wellbeing Officer and Goodest Boy The second longest serving member of Team Trekstock, our resident Wellbeing Officer is always on hand to make sure the teams spirits are high.
