Navigating Menopause

Some cancer treatments mean you might find yourself forced into early, or medically induced, menopause. Because cancer is the gift that keeps on giving, right? It's a side effect we don't often hear that much about until we're confronted with it as patients. But the long term impact can be hard hitting. You might find yourself struggling with hot flushes, on arollercoaster emotions and never quite knowing when (or if!) your period is going to make an appearance.

We know that many of you have been left confused and feel lost when it comes to working out your options. Our five week course brings you ace experts so we can tackle this hot topic together and unpick whatever you need to explore.

KICKING OFF SOON.

We've just finished our most recent programme and we're working on bringing you the next. Register your interest so we can keep you up to date on everything you need about our next Navigating Menopause course.

Join Us

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU'LL GET

  • Access to practical advice on how to feel heard and listened to when seeking support or speaking to your medical team
  • Support to make informed choices that are right for you

WE CHAT ABOUT:

Everything!

  • Dr Philippa Kaye shares how to get the best from your GP and the symptoms you might not associate with menopause
  • Dr Annice Murkharjee knows about all the non medical options and the medical options that aren't HRT
  • If you're after an expert on HRT Dr Rebecca Lewis is your woman
  • Sex and relationships are covered by psychosexual therapist Caroline Lovett and Sam Evans from Jo Divine
  • When it comes to taking care of your brain, Dr Lindsey Thomas is here to help you look after your mental health
  • And because we know how crucial exercise is to menopause self-care, we bring on Kate Rowe Ham and RENEW instructor Teresa Waite to cover this

Find out more about our experts.

"It’s 3 years since I went through the menopause and no one from my oncology team or GP have taken any responsibility when it comes to helping me navigate it. It’s taken a few sessions with you guys to feel more educated and informed when it comes to my options and I can’t explain how much I appreciate your help."
